As the social media landscape changes so quickly, I wanted the Netflix online style to adapt as well. Netflix community is passionate, funny, clever, supportive, and was born speaking the social language fluently.

My design strived to match that energy, setting up the Netflix brand as a kindred spirit: the friend who watches movies with you and is on top of trends.

Netflix Pride

In 2021 Netflix celebrated Pride by highlighting trans and non-binary representation on Netflix and other media.

The campaign, highlighting trans and non-binary experiences, had 5 elements:

  • A gender watch guide to highlight storytelling by the community

  • A video production about trans and non-binary representation

  •   Video production with NikkieTutorials

  • A social campaign that ties everything together 

  •  Empowering Genderpraatjes by informing people that they can call them if they want to talk about gender
